Secondary Years - Grades 9 and 10 At the start of the IGCSE course, your child can choose to study 8, 9 or 10 subjects from an extensive list. We encourage students to take subjects they are interested in.
Being an internally based curriculum, the Cambridge IGCSE allows teaching to be placed in a localised context, making it relevant in different regions. It is also suitable for students whose first language may not be English and this is acknowledged throughout the examination process. Grading is on an eight-point scale (A*–G). Grade C in IGCSE English satisfies the English proficiency requirements of many universities in the UK and in other English speaking countries. The IGCSE will give your child excellent preparation for his/her subsequent goals in education, including progression to A Level or International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Cambridge IGCSE is recognised by universities and employers worldwide. |
